Local SEO Specialist

Most of my clients are tradies and service businesses who want more customers finding them online.

In 2026 that means showing up in Google’s organic results, the map pack, and the AI summaries sitting above most search results.

If you’re looking for more online authority, you’re in the right place.

SEO in 2026 Is More Competitive.

Here’s how I approach it.

AI Overviews and zero-click results have changed what ranking means. Getting page 1 rankings doesn’t guarantee the same traffic it did two years ago. My approach is to build visibility across all of it: organic rankings, the local map pack, and the AI-generated summaries now sitting above most search results. Each one is a chance for your business to get found, and most businesses are only optimising for one of them.

How Do SEO Services Work?

Website, Authority & SEO Audit

I start with a full audit of your website and current search visibility, looking at what you rank for now, what’s holding you back, and where you’re missing out on traffic from customers already searching for what you do.

Keyword Strategy & Content Roadmap

From the audit, I build a keyword plan and content roadmap around what your customers are searching for and where your competitors are losing ground, building authority on the topics that drive the right enquiries.

Easy To Understand SEO Reporting

I’m only winning if you’re winning. You get monthly reporting that shows rankings, traffic, and what shifted. I flag what’s working and what needs adjusting so you always know where things stand.

Local & National SEO

Although i’m based in Cairns, my local SEO service is available Australia wide.

Ranking locally and ranking nationally require different strategies. Local SEO focuses on getting your business in front of people searching in your area. National SEO is about building authority on broader terms so customers find you regardless of where they are. Most of my clients need both.

How Can I Tell If My SEO Is Working?

The clearest sign your SEO is working is more customers finding you on Google and getting in touch. In 2026 that also means showing up when someone asks ChatGPT or another AI tool to recommend a local service provider, a visibility opportunity most businesses haven’t mastered yet.

Beyond rankings, I track where your leads are coming from and whether the work we’re doing is putting more customers through your door. I use Google Search Console alongside keyword tracking software to monitor what’s ranking, what’s clicking, and where the gaps are.

I check-in with clients regularly, and I’ll be direct if something isn’t working. Traffic that isn’t generating revenue isn’t worth chasing.

Frequently Asked Questions About SEO

What is an SEO sprint?

An SEO sprint is a fixed-fee project with a defined scope, typically ran over 4 to 12 weeks. We cover the foundations: a full site audit, keyword research, on-page optimisation, a content plan, and off-page work including citation building and link acquisition. It’s a good starting point if you want to understand where your site stands before committing to ongoing management, or if you have a specific issue you need addressed.

Can I run Google Ads & do SEO?

Yes, and I usually recommend both. On many searches, Google now shows 3 to 4 ads, an AI Overview, and the map pack before a single organic result appears. That’s a lot of the page accounted for before anyone reaches you organically. If you’re running Google Ads, have an optimised Google Business Profile, and show up in the organic results, you have three separate chances to be found on the same search. That’s how you stay competitive when the page is this crowded.

How long until I see SEO results?

For most businesses you could be looking at 3 to 6 months, but it depends on two things: how competitive your keywords are and how much authority your site already has. A tradie targeting local search terms in a regional area can see movement in 30 to 90 days. Ranking nationally for broader terms takes longer, sometimes 6 to 12 months+. I’ll tell you what’s realistic for your situation before we start.

What Is Local SEO and Do I Need It?

Local SEO is the process of getting your business in front of people searching for what you do in your area, whether that’s in Google’s map pack, local search results, or AI-generated recommendations. If your customers are in a specific city or region, local SEO is usually the fastest way to start generating enquiries. As a local SEO specialist, I work with tradies and service businesses to build visibility where their customers are searching.

Link building is the process of getting other websites to link to yours. Each link tells Google and AI tools that your site is credible and worth ranking. Not all links carry the same weight though.

Some are relatively straightforward to secure: local business citations, industry directories, and links from suppliers or peers in your field. Beyond that, building quality links requires outreach, creating content worth referencing, or more specialised methods that take time and effort to execute properly.

A lot of agencies send a monthly PDF with a list of links you’ve never heard of and no explanation of why they were built. My process is transparent, you know exactly where links are being placed, why those sites were chosen, and what it’s contributing to your authority over time.

Do You Provide SEO Services Across Australia?

Yes. I’m based in Cairns but work with businesses across Australia, with clients in Queensland, Victoria, and New South Wales. All reporting and strategy calls happen online. Location doesn’t affect the quality of the work, what matters is understanding your market, your customers, and the keywords they’re searching for.
